HONESTY & INTEGRITY. then. now. always.
These are not just words we dreamed up to create an image; they truly are our guiding principles. They guide us in all that we do and in all of our communications; whether with a customer, a subcontractor, a vendor, an employee, or even a husband, wife, son, daughter or even a stranger.
The statement is actually derived from two Bible verses:
Proverbs 2:7—He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
Hebrews 13:8—Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
What better place to find something to emulate? God's word is our moral compass.
We've applied these principles to every customer relationship since our humble beginnings [then], we make a conscious choice to build upon them today [now], and will continue to follow them in our future [always].
To honor God in all that we do by serving others, by doing great work, by giving back to the community that is so gracious to us, by forgiving others, by encouraging, by lifting each other up and always looking for the best in each person. This type of environment is rich with ideas and ways that we can each grow, change and improve.
This value statement is a challenge to me personally, to remind me where we came from and where we are going. It calls each of us to be a better person, and I believe it calls the company and our clients to a higher purpose. It is when we take our eyes off of ourselves that we can better serve each other and our common goals unconditionally.
